Bio

She is a feminist and a social worker deeply committed and active in the adult education movement and in the women’s movement. She was previously DAWN’s Regional Coordinator for Latin America. She has worked as a Secretary General of the International Council for Adult Education (ICAE) and the Coordinator of the Gender and Education Office (GEO) of ICAE. She was the General Coordinator of the Popular Education Network of Women from Latin America and the Caribbean (REPEM) and has been part of the International Council of the World Social Forum since its very beginning.
