Bio

María Graciela Cuervo is from the Dominican Republic and is currently the General Co-Coordinator of DAWN and a member of the Executive Committee. In 2011 she participated in the DAWN Training Institute for young feminists and since then has engaged with DAWN in advocacy, alumnae networking, and social mobilisation efforts. A lawyer by training, her area of focus is on human rights, women's rights, labour rights, and the right to education. She was the Program Officer of the International Council for Adult Education (2012-2017), a global network advocating for youth and adult learning. She also worked as a research and projects coordinator at CIPAF (2007-2011).
