After years of grassroots struggles against corporate impunity, we finally have a Zero Draft of a legally-binding UN Treaty on Transnational Corporations (TNCs) and Human Rights. Does the Draft meet our feminist visions and demands?
Corporate power is inherently patriarchal. While many TNCs use ‘women’s empowerment’ for promotion, the reality is that millions of women worldwide continue to suffer exploitation and violence at the hands of corporations.
Join us for a conversation on what is present and what is missing in the Draft for the UN Treaty to become a powerful tool for women and our movements in the struggle for economic and gender justice.
The webinar will be available in English and Spanish.
