DAWN EC member, Corina Rodriguez Enriquez spoke at panel discussion “Women and social and employment policies”, at the Global Conference on Social Inclusion from Beijing to Post 2015, held on May 6th to 8th, at the Argentinean Ministry of Foreign Affairs Headquaters in Buenos Aires. The high level conference, which saw the participation of Ministries from Argentina and from countries in Latin America, Africa and Asia, focused on women`s social inclusion, going through a broad range of issues including: social and employment policies, poverty eradication and urban and rural contexts, inequality, poverty and sustainable development, women in conflict and post-conflict societies, social inclusion in post 2015 development agenda. In her presentation, Corina addressed the case of labour regulation for migrant domestic workers and provide a more general critical reflection on mainstream social policies in Latin America and their implicantions for women´s lives.
