(PRESS) Letter from Civil Society Regarding Future Agenda of the WTO Negotiations – 8 July, 2015

On July 8, 2015, Development Alternatives with Women for a New Era (DAWN), along with other civil society organisations, signed on to a letter to members of the World Trade Organization (WTO), regarding the future agenda of the WTO negotiations.

To Members of the World Trade Organization (WTO):

As 3451 organizations of civil society from over 100 countries of the global North and South, as consumer groups, environmentalists, trade unions, farmers, and other development advocates, we are writing regarding the wrong direction of the current WTO talks, and to urge you to substantially turnaround the negotiations in advance of the December Ministerial in Nairobi…
