DAWN Talks 2020

The terrible impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic have been felt around the world. For countries of the Global South, it has caused enormous setbacks, deepening pre-existing inequalities and exposing vulnerabilities in social, political and economic systems. While the virus can affect anyone indiscriminately, it does not affect everyone equally, debunking the myth that it is a universal equalizer.

Over the months of June and July, DAWN organized a series of talks with feminists from the Global South to discuss the profound implications of the pandemic, but also the extraordinary measures taken by States battling its consequences.
