DAWN has begun a new phase of consolidating regional networking. Since resources are scarce, we contacted existing NGO women research networks and asked them to provide on two of DAWN’s themes. Some of the groups contacted were the women’s research group in ANPOCS and the women’s condition research group of CLACSO. The Women’s Branch Division of CEPAL also helped with technical support and data from its data bank. FLACSO Bolivia helped with organising of the La Paz Regional meeting where researchers, feminist activists and policy-oriented persons gathered to draft the Latin American paper.
