DAWN Panel in the 12th AWID International Forum on Women’s Rights and Development:Gender, Economic and Ecological Justice (GEEJ) in a fierce new world: Perspectives of Young Women from the Economic South22 April 2012 Istanbul, Turkey.
The DAWN panel explored the current patterns of economic growth in Africa, Asia, Pacific and Latin America and its impacts on the environment and women’s access to sustainable livelihoods.
Panelists also analyzed some market based solutions to climate change and discuss why they should be challenged in national and global arenas.
