Feminist organizations and networks from Latin America and the Caribbean countries position themselves against attempts to back the rights agenda that pass in the Brazilian Parliament. The Motion of repudiation below, signed by about 70 organizations in the region, was referred to Parliament and the Brazilian government repudiating the PL 5069/13 and PL 6583/13 that go against the global efforts to build a sustainable development agenda, violate human rights, as well as go against central commitments of the International Conference on Population and Development and the Montevideo Consensus on Population and Development in Latin America and the Caribbean.
