Shadow Report submitted to the 85th Session of the CEDAW

On May 8th 2023, the Fem4PeoplesVaccine attended the CEDAW85 kick-off. We wanedt to highlight the intersectional effects intellectual property over essential medical products in the context of the COVID19 pandemic have on the lives of us all, particularly based in the global South.

We hope to make Germany accountable for its determining role in the COVID vaccine apartheid and how it affected women in the global South. Today, we are asking Germany to learn from its mistakes and waive intellectual property off of COVID tests & treatments
